David Fideler is putting together an online course on Sufi poetry that will be offered in Spring 2007. The course will be a complete introduction to the history and language of Sufi poetry, and will hopefully include presentations by special guests. If there is sufficient interest, other courses will be offered on the works of specific writers, such as Rumi and Attar (The Conference of the Birds).
The courses will include assigned readings, lectures, and discussions delivered over the Internet to participants who are enrolled in the seminar.
